Francis "Coop" E. Bartholomew

On January 10, 2012, a life-long resident of Barrington age 85yrs. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis. Devoted father of Steve, Jim (Pat), Michael (Tina), Paul (Amy), Patricia Ann (late Phil) Deeck, Joseph, and the late Bob (Lynn). Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren. Mr. Bartholomew was a 1944 graduate of Haddon Heights High School where he was an All-South Jersey All Star football player and a member of the 1943 Hall of Fame football team. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and then went on to graduate from Franklin & Marshall College where he earned a B.S. in Chemistry. Mr. Bartholomew retired as a Scientist from Rohm & Haas in Philadelphia after 40yrs of service. In his leisure time, he enjoyed his family as well as reading and classical music. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday morning from 9:15 to 11:15 at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd., Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 4th Ave. & Kings Hwy., Haddon Heights.
