Salvatore "Sal" John Sylvestro

Surrounded by his loving wife and family, on March 10, 2012 of Glendora, NJ age 68 yrs. Born in Philadelphia to Mary and the late Anthony “Beefy” Sylvestro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam Conflict aboard the U.S.S. Courtney. On March 11, 1989 Sal married his soulmate Christine (nee DiNunzio). He is also survived by his loving mother Mary Sylvestro; his Aunt Helen Spera; his son Evan; daughter Michelle and grandson Brandon; his brother Frank and numerous cousins, nephews and close friends. Family and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday 10am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa’s Church, Evesham Rd, Runnemede. In lieu of flowers Sal requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) so that children do not have to suffer from cancer or other diseases.
