Anthony (Bill) Martino, 87, of Erial, NJ passed away peacefully on September 19, 2007. Bill retired from the City of Camden Police Force after 25 years of service as a motorcycle patrolman. Prior to the police force, he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad after serving in the Army during WWII. Bill also graduated from the Hussein School of Art in Philadelphia. He was an exceptional artist and sign-painter. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Virginia. Additional survivors are his son, Anthony Martino and his wife Mary of Mt. Ephraim, NJ, a daughter Carol Carr and her husband James of Westmont, NJ, a daughter Norma Lee and her husband Richard of Elkton, MD, a daughter Rose Connard and her husband Kevin of Royal Palm Beach, FL, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services were held on September 22, 2007 at the Popiolek Funeral Home in Barrington, NJ as well as St. Edwards Catholic Church in Pine Hill, NJ.
