On December 26, 2007 formerly of Barrington, NJ, age 81 yrs. Beloved wife of Anna Marie “Nancy” (Nee. Stressman). Devoted father of Joann Demetro and Susan (Robert) Dugary. Loving Pop Pop of Joy (Glenn), Brian (Rachel), Danielle (JR), Dawn (Sean), Brittanie (Ryan) and Justin. Great Pop Pop of Daphne, Ava, and Dean. Mr. Demetro was veteran of the US Army serving in World War II. He was employed for over 20 yrs with Baldwin Locomotive Company as a Welder and for 15 yrs with the Camden County Highway Dept. as a Drive and Mechanic. Joe retired to the Delaware Shore with his wife, where he was an avid fisherman. He is greatly loved by many and will be missed by all! Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday evening from 7 to 9PM and again on Monday morning from 8:30-9:30am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 10am at St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Gloucester Pike & Willmont Ave, Barrington, NJ. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
