On May 28, 2013 of Barrington, NJ age 82 yrs. Beloved husband of Mary A. (nee Merlie). Devoted father of Valarie Green (Walt) and Michael Lipsett. Step-father of Ernie Deuter (Sharon), Connie Doto (Larry), Dan Deuter (Sue) and Chris Deuter (Pam). Dear brother of Mary Wadsworth (Joe). Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Lipsett honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement he worked as a Yardman for SEPTA for over 40 yrs. Mr. Lipsett was a long-time member and volunteer for the Bellmawr Volunteer Fire Co. No.1, the Bellmawr VFW Post 9563, and he served as a Special Law Enforcement Officer with the Bellmawr Police Department. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday evening from 6 to 8PM at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, where a Memorial Service will follow at 8PM. If desired the family requests memorial donations to the Bellmawr VFW Post 9563, 52 Essex Ave, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
