On July 31, 2008 of Runnemede, NJ formerly of Barrington, NJ, Vero Beach, FL, Royal Oak, Mi, Chatham, NJ and Succasunna, NJ. Beloved husband of Alma V. (Nee. Roper). Devoted father of Lesley Elliott and David Elliott. Loving grandfather of Tyler. Dear brother of the late Warren Elliott, William Elliott, and Elizabeth Sherrerd. Mr. Elliott was born in Barrington, NJ and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., where he proudly served his country during World War II. He worked as an Accountant for Crum & Foster Insurance Company for many years and later worked as a Real Estate Agent for Weichert Realtors. Mr. Elliott was a loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He will be missed by many. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday afternoon from 1PM at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held at 2PM followed by Military Honors. Interment will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
