On October 1, 2008, surrounded by his loving family, life long resident of Barrington, age 82 yrs. Beloved husband of 61 yrs to Loretta (Nee. Styron). Devoted father of Edward G., Jr., Paul J. (Betsy), Janice L. Bantle (Dennis), Ann M. Zanetich, Eileen Hauler (Ed), Carol Enos, and Russell (Franki). Loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Baumhauer was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy proudly serving during World War II. He was a founding member of St. Francis de Sales RC Church, a Charter Member of the Barrington VFW Post 7247, a member of the Barrington Historical Society and an avid bingo player. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 9PM and again on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10am at St. Francis de Sales RC Church, 199 Willmont Ave., Barrington, NJ 08007. Interment with Military Honors New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. If desired the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Francis de Sales Church at the above address or the charity of the donor’s choice.
