On December 25, 2008 of Barrington, NJ age 91 Yrs. Beloved husband of the late Hazel H. (Nee. Hopkins). Devoted father of Pamela P. Tabery (Michael) and Edward G. Page (Susan). Dear brother of Clara Capie (Bill) and Robert Page (Ruth). Loving grandfather of Jim Tabery, Jeff Tabery (Colleen) and Suzanne Boyko (Al). Great grandfather of Hailie, Sidney, Tyler, and Reilly. Also survived by his long time companion Betty Yockel. Mr. Page was life long resident of Barrington where he was the fourth of seven children born to Alfred and Clara Page. He proudly served in the US Coast Guard from 1938-1945 attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer. During World War II he served aboard the Troop Transport USS Cavileer and saw many landing companies in the South Pacific. Edward married his wife Hazel on July 4, 1942. After the war, he went to work for Page Brothers Lumber Yard, which later became Roberts Lumber. Mr. Page served as Superintendent and Choir Director at the Barrington 1st Presbyterian Church as well as the Methodist Church of Barrington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Monday, 11:30am at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
