Joseph Guida, Jr

On April 20, 2016 of Deptford, NJ, formerly of Barrington, NJ, age 94yrs. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Wolf). Devoted father of Joseph S. (Kathleen), Diane M. Guida, and Nancy M. Lepone (Dominic). Dear brother of Blanche Kelly. Loving grandfather of Emily and Dominic. Joe was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Audubon H.S. Class of 1940. He entered the U.S. Navy where he attained the rank of Lieutenant and became a Naval Aviator serving in the American and Pacific theater of World War II from May 1942 to February 1946. Joe retired from Bell Telephone as an engineer after 35 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday morning from 10 am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park. If desired memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
