Catherine "Kate" L. Campbell

On March 10, 2017, of Marlton, NJ, age 85.  Left to cherish her memory are her children Catherine A. Johnson (Allen) of Virginia Beach, VA, Audrey L. Eisele of Marlton, NJ, Joseph C. Campbell (Kimberly) of Haddon Twp., NJ, Marie C. Smith (Walter) of Clayton, NJ; her grandchildren Christopher Campbell, James Campbell, Susan Campbell, Lance Clark, Darcy Clark, Matthew Sweeney, Paul Sweeney, Daniel Eisele, Daniel Campbell, Kathleen Ulrich, Samuel Campbell, Mark Landis, Brooke Landis, Sara Landis; great-grandchildren Loretta, Aiden, Zack, Matthew, Siena, Calvin, Gianna; and her siblings Ambrose Letter, Alice Wolf, Joseph Letter, and Deloris Doran. Preceding her in death are her sons James F. Campbell, Jr. (Karen) and late Daniel A. Campbell (late Kathleen); grandson James Campbell; and her siblings Daniel Letter, Owen Letter, Mary Graham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Daniel and Alice Letter. Kate graduated from Little Flower High School (Class of 1950). She was an energetic mother of six who volunteered at numerous churches, schools and civil organizations. Kate was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Church of Marlton. Later in life she enjoyed baking, gardening, and writing poetry. After raising her family, her gift of charisma and business skills enabled her to continue working until the age of 80. The family will receive visitors Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 1:30pm-2:30pm at CALVARY CHAPEL OF SOUTH JERSEY, 1210 Hessian Ave. West Deptford, NJ 08093 followed by a memorial service at 2:30pm. Arrangements by POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, Barrington, NJ.
