Unexpectedly, on November 12, 2009 at Glassboro, NJ, of Barrington and Skillman, NJ, formerly of Glassboro, age 56 yrs. Beloved brother of David Campbell (Diane) and Elisabeth Eastman (David). Loving uncle of Douglas, Danielle, Matthew, and Abigail. Mr. Campbell was a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, where he earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Ecology as well as Montclair State University, where he earned two Master’s degrees. During his academic years, Ward was a Varsity Rower and championship Miler and Cross Country Runner. He spent two years in Nagoya, Japan teaching English while studying Aikido. Mr. Campbell taught Science in the Princeton School District for many years. In recent years, Mr. Campbell had been the Environmental Project Manager for Brownfield Redevelopment and was the primary caregiver for his parents, Ward and Eleanor Campbell, now deceased. During his free time, Ward enjoyed reading, photography, sculpting, classic audio electronics, and world traveling, especially to Belgium and the two summers he spent on the Island of Skye, Scotland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 10am at the Barrington First Presbyterian Church, 401 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11am.
