On December 1, 2009 of Runnemede, NJ age 86 yrs. Beloved husband of Dorothy C. (Nee. Sieber). Devoted father of Dorothy Moen (Ed), Catherine Giesen (John), Patricia McCollum (Dan) and the late Robert and Joan. Dear brother of Theresa Luker (Robert). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Nick, Johnny, Katie, Kim, and Danny. Great-grandfather of Kimmora. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Fischer proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Pennsylvania during World War II. He retired from Campbell Soup Co., and served as Past Commander of the Runnemede VFW Post 3324. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ 08007. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am from St. Maria Goretti RC Church, Runnemede, NJ. If desired the family request that Mass Cards be sent.
