Stephen J. Popiolek

On January 7, 2007 of Erial, NJ age 28 yrs. Devoted and loving father of Brandon M. Loving Step-father of Anthony Bailey. Cherished son of Frederick J., Sr. and Barbara L. (Nee. Tessing). Maternal grandson of William and Eleanor Tessing. Paternal grandson of the late Benjamin and Mary Popiolek. Dear brother of Frederick J., Jr. and his wife Gloria and Kirk A. and his wife Rebecca. Loving uncle of Patrick, Brittany, Bryan, Noah, and Baby Popiolek. Godson of Andrea Mottershead and Timothy Popiolek. Also surviving are many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Stephen was a talented Drywall Finisher and Taper for the Drywall Finishers Union, Local 1955, Philadelphia, PA. Stephen enjoyed life to its fullest and was totally devoted to his son Brandon. He was a Baseball Coach for the Erial Little League, a Member of the Gloucester Township Neighborhood Watch, and a previous member of the Albion Volunteer Fire Company. Stephen was an avid bowler, SCUBA diver, and enjoyed ice hockey and Motocross. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9PM and again on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 10am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 11am at St. Agnes R.C. Church, Little Gloucester Rd & Cole Rd, Blackwood, NJ. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
