(nee Gibbs) Passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023, of Barrington, NJ age 76 yrs. Beloved wife of the late Bruce. Devoted mother of Kevin B. Capie (Amy), and Jill E. Lewis (Scott). Loving grandmother of William J. Capie, Cortland B. Lewis, and Nathaniel S. Lewis. Dear sister of Barry Gibbs (Janet). Also survived by her brother-in-law Dr. William Capie (Nancy) and her sister-in-law Linda Quitadamo (Dr. Mark). Doris was a longtime resident of Barrington where she was an active member of the Barrington Junior Women’s Club and later the Barrington Women’s Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach as well as reading, and needlepoint. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 10am to 11am at POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ, where a Memorial Service will follow at 11am.
