Dustin Michael Goebel Rose passed away from a motor vehicle accident on Monday, February 27, 2023, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Dustin was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on July 27, 1990. His family moved to Woodstown, NJ in 2001, and he graduated from Woodstown High School in 2008. Dustin moved to Clarksville, TN in 2022 for a new employment opportunity as an installation technician for Safe Haven. Dustin is survived by his parents, Dr. Paul W. Goebel III and Michelle Ulrich Goebel, Cherry Hill, NJ; brother CPT Anthony Kurt Goebel (Dr. Darby Lyons), Fort Hood, TX; sister Alison Janet Goebel, Hoboken, NJ; brother Andrew Riley Goebel, Cherry Hill, NJ; paternal grandfather Paul W. Goebel, Jr, Frederick, MD and maternal grandmother Shirley Groft, Sewell, NJ. Dustin was predeceased by paternal grandmother Candace Felton Goebel, Monrovia, MD. Dustin was a devoted son, grandson, brother, and friend to all. His quick wit, mischievous grin, and boisterous laugh lit up every room that he walked into. He loved books, fishing, his cat, and collecting watches. Dustin always enjoyed a sip of whiskey and sharing stories around a bonfire. His family will miss playing games with him on holiday weekends, even when he beat them playing Dominion or Catan. Most of all, he loved being a good, loyal friend, brother and son. He always ended every phone call and visit by telling Mom and Dad “I love you”. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 9 am to 11 am at Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, 2 Lamplighter Lane, Woodstown, NJ, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
