Gerald J. Hauske, Sr.

of Barrington, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024,

age 92 yrs. Devoted father of Gerald J. Hauske, Jr. (Nancy), Thomas M. Hauske (Gail), Mark D.

Hauske (Cheryl), and David M. Hauske (Susan). Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean Hauske of nearly 70 years, passing away shortly after her, and his brothers, William Hauske and Charles Hauske. Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Jerry worked as an industrial painter for Owen’s Corning Fiberglass for over 25 years followed by General Electric until his retirement.

An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Jerry loved all sports. Along with his wife, he always supported his four sons cheering them on at all of their sporting events. Jerry volunteered as a coach at Barrington Little League where he coached each of his sons throughout the years. Whatever the sport, Jerry could be regularly be found at the games of his grandchildren as well, offering helpful “pointers”, whether or not he was a master of the sport.

Jerry was a devoted and loyal family man, bringing his unique sense of humor to any situation. His proudest moment as a father was his four boys all graduating from Drexel University and becoming successful engineers.

After his children were grown, he and Jean loved to travel, especially “up-country” to Lancaster

County, PA, as well as senior bus trips to the casino. He loved to tinker in his workshop and his family cherishes the woodwork creations that “Pop” created.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am at POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ where a Funeral Service will follow at 10:30am.
