Born in Reading, PA, Harriet would live a life of travel & adventure before marriage and children. She initially settled in State College, PA, where her love of college basketball and football became a way of life. She eventually moved to the Washington D.C. area, remarried and remained there for over 30 years. Her enduring love for the City of Philadelphia brought her home and became her resting place. Harriet will be remembered for her love of the beach, pool, a constant tan, Jeopardy, foreign languages, designer shoes, a good candy store, lobster, and excellent grammar. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Clark of Urbana, MD, and Caryl Hayden (Joseph) of Barrington, as well as her grandchildren, Allyson (Trevor), Matthew, Molly, and Olivia.
