Of Haddon Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024, age 75 yrs. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Martino). Devoted father of Casey Gialanella (Joseph). Loving grandfather of Gemma. Jim retired from the Delaware River Port Authority after 25 years of service. He was devoted to his family, especially his granddaughter, Gemma who was the apple of his eye. Jim enjoyed horse racing, trips to the NJ Shore beaches, car shows and spending time with his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday from 9:15am to 10:15am at POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Road, Barrington, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am in St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John’s Church, 809 Park Ave, Collingswood, NJ.
