Of Haddonfield, N.J., Jim passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, at the age of 92. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Joan (nee Rock), and a loving and amazing father to his four daughters and two sons. Jim was a proud Pop Pop to his grandchildren and a newborn great-granddaughter, always thrilled to spend time with them.
As the youngest of six siblings, Jim was a loving brother and a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews. A lifelong New Jersey resident, he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Temple University. Jim proudly served as a military policeman in Germany for the United States Air Force. He was a cheerful, dedicated, letter carrier for the United States Post Office for more than 30 years.
Jim leaves behind a legacy of love and the belief in treasuring time spent with loved ones. He will always be remembered for his kindness and happy attitude towards life. Jim was always available to sit, listen, and make everyone feel important. His favorite things were boating, family seafood parties, and celebrating holidays and special occasions with family.
