Jane O'Donnell

(nee Davidson) Passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, of Marlton, NJ, age 90 yrs. Jane was born on August 27, 1934 in Camden, NJ to Howard and Veronica (nee Britton) Davidson. Beloved wife of the late James B. O’Donnell. Devoted mother of James J. O’Donnell (Megan), Kathie Rafferty (Dave), and Robert O’Donnell (Denise). Dear sister of Trudy Ackley (Jim), Katherine Davidson, and the late Robert and William Davidson. Dear grandmother of Samantha Rafferty, Colleen Hayes (Lee), Kelly O’Donnell, Emily O’Donnell, James J. O’Donnell, and Jerry O’Donnell. Great-grandmother of Skylar Rafferty, Griffin, and Ilana Hayes. Also survived by her sister-in-law Ellen Davidson. Jane graduated from Camden Catholic H.S., where she excelled in athletics, lettering in several sports. She went on to graduate from Trenton State Collage (TCNJ) where she played on the Women’s Basketball and Lacross teams. Jane taught Physical Education in all of the Burlington Township schools, however, the pinnacle of her career was teaching at Burlington Township High School, where she was the varsity Women’s Basketball coach. After retirement, Jane remained in excellent physical shape. She enjoyed playing golf, yoga, and swimming. Additionally, Jane was an avid Bridge player and was devoted to her Catholic faith. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10am to 11am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am.
