Joseph J Gallardo

Joseph J. Gallardo, age 90, of Barrington died Dec. 31, 2018. Joe was born and raised in Louisiana and later settled in Barrington.  He was a US Marine serving during the Korean War. He worked security at Rowan University for over 20 years. He was very active in the Babe Ruth League and served as district commissioner.  He was predeceased by his wife Anna.  Joe is survived by his son, Joseph (Eleanor) Gallardo; two sisters, Rita Sparkman and Mary "B" Smertneck; and three grandchildren, Heather, Joel, and Megan. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30am at POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 11am at St. Rose of Lima Church 300 E.
