Leona E. Rodgers

Leona E. (nee Linderman), on April 24, 2018, age 102, of Haddon Township. She died at home peacefully, just as she lived. Beloved wife of the late William E. Rodgers, loving mother of Louise Carpo also of Haddon Township and the late William E. Rodgers, Jr. (Judy) of Greencastle, PA. Dear grandmother of Lynne Duff (Andy), Christina Spencer, Brooke Condo and Bret Rodgers (Denise). Devoted great grandmother of Samantha and Taylor Spencer and Hayden and Riley Condo. Leona graduated from Collingswood High School and later worked at Esterbrook Penn Company in Camden. She and her husband retired to Delray Beach, Florida and she came back after he passed to be near family. Leona loved to read, travel, play cards and do crossword puzzles and loved animals, especially dogs! She always appreciated God’s gifts in life and leaves a legacy of humor, kindness and love. Interment was at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ. Family and friends are invited to attend A Celebration of Life Service being held on Saturday, May 19 at 11:00 at the Grenloch Presbyterian Church, 500 Eastview Avenue, Grenloch, NJ 08032.
