Richard D. Baughman

Of Barrington, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2024, age 81 years. Beloved husband of over 60 years to Janet (nee McCafferty). Devoted father of R. Scott Baughman (Dolores), Karen Read (late Timothy), Brian Baughman (Kelly), Steven Baughman (Jennifer), and Kevin Baughman (Kimberly). Loving grandfather of Sara, Ryan, Megan, Erin, Shannon, Madeline, Dylan, and Lucas. Great-grandfather of Sofia, Riley, and Ellie. Richard was born and raised in the Cramer Hill section of Camden, NJ where he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He enjoyed a lengthy career with RCA which later became Lockheed Martin, retiring with over 42 years of service. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who had a wicked sky hook. Richard was a huge movie buff, a voracious reader, as well as a practical joker who could always make his children laugh. He will always be remembered as someone who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at the Jersey Shore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11am in St. Rose of Lima R.C.
