Of Barrington, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, age 88 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine D. (nee Brendell). Devoted father of Pamela Finch, James Finch (Lydia), and the late Linda Finch. Caring Uncle to Sharon Huff. Loving grandfather of Andrea (Masahiro), Andrew (Michelle), Faith (Ryan), Albert (Candi), James, and Jessica. Great-grandfather of Rain, Grayson, Monroe, Harper, Gavin, Alivia, Scarlett, and Oliver. Bob grew up in Haddon Heights where he graduated from Haddon Heights High School. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army. Bob later moved to Barrington and became active in the former First Presbyterian Church of Barrington. He served as an Elder, Sunday School Teacher, sang in the choir, and always made sure the church was in tip-top shape. In addition to his church activities, Bob enjoyed metal detecting, coin collecting, genealogy, drag racing, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the South Jersey Metal Detecting Club as well as the Barrington Historical Society. Bob will fondly be remembered for his kindness and generosity to others as well as his mechanical talents. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 9am until 11am at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Interment with Military Honors will take place in Berlin Cemetery.
