Sr. Brigid Mary Tynan, F.D.N.S.C

Sr. Brigid Mary Tynan, Daughter of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, died peacefully at St. Francis de Sales Convent, Bellmawr on December 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving community. Born in County Tipperary, Ireland, Sr. Brigid Mary was the second child of the late James and Mary Tynan and was predeceased by her brother William and her sisters Margaret and Mary. Survived by her sister Nancy Murphy (Donal), as well as several nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces, many cousins and the Sisters of her beloved community. Sr. Brigid taught school in England for ten years and in the Diocese of Camden for 46 years. She had a special place in her heart for the students she taught. She loved to meet them in later years and would always want to know how they were doing. Relatives, friends, and religious are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday 10am in St. Joachim Parish, 601 W. Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ. Interment will follow at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sr. Brigid to Holy Redeemer Home Care and Hospice Services, P.O.
