William C. Kennedy

On October 25, 2019 of Barrington, NJ, age 93yrs.  Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Heath).  Devoted father of William J. Kennedy (Natwasa) and John T. Kennedy (Deanna).  Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Shonna, and Michele.  Great-grandfather of Colin, and Caitlyn.  Predeceased by his parents William G. and Agnes as well as his two brothers James and Thomas.  Bill was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and again in Korea.  After being discharged from the Army, Bill attended night school to finish his high school education and later graduated from LaSalle University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics.  He enjoyed a long career with RCA and retired as a Test Foreman.  Bill was a member of the Projectionist Union.  He enjoyed coaching Barrington Little League and was made an honorary member of the Barrington Fire Company.  Bill had a love and passion for Ham Radios and was a member of the National Association for Amateur Radio and was known for his call sign NS2A. Bill had a life-long love of baseball and enjoyed cheering for the his favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ.  Interment with Military Honors will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.  To express condolences, please visit www.njfuneralhome.net.
